THE WORK ON CONSTRUCTING THE NEW 7TH TEE HAS BEGUN. A TEMPORARY TEE IS NOW IN USE FOR ALL MEMBERS WHICH IS FORWARD OF THE NEW TEE. BECAUSE THIS HAS SHORTENED THE COURSE BY 100 YDS, ALL COMPETITIONS PLAYED OFF THE TEMPORARY TEE WILL BE NON-QUALIFYING. ONCE THE WORKERS HAVE FINISHED (1-2 WEEKS), THE OLD TEE WILL BE BACK IN PLAY UNTIL VEOLIA BEGIN THEIR PIPE-WORK CONSTRUCTION IN THE SUMMER.
